Strengthening Our Sector Through Shared Knowledge

My mum sent me a nice message of support before RSL embarked on a busy week last week. Her wise words were “sharing knowledge is one of the most powerful things we can do”. As a 100% New Zealand-owned and operated company, RSL loves learning and sharing and was chuffed to be able to sponsor the Recreation Aotearoa | Te Whai Oranga Recreation Summit and sponsor and support the development of the Master Class.

Yes, it was busy! The Master Class was a room full of people sharing knowledge! And I mean not just the presenters, but everyone in the room contributed to the conversation. Titled, Planning for Spaces and Places in Challenging Times, the topic areas seemed to resonate well with everyone. With Recreation Aotearoa trialling a new day-long National Summit, we felt a second day that was targeted on some key topics would be a useful and complementary offering.

The sold-out sign would indicate people were keen.

I’d like to publicly thank all those contributors to both the Master Class and the Summit who gave freely of their time to help the sector grow and learn, along with the people within RA, behind the scenes who got things done (oh, and thanks Mum). I can’t wait to learn more next year!
